In January 2026 we're expecting an upgrade to our member self-service platform, My Pension Online.
The upgrade will give the site a new look, offer enhanced security and make registration for our Derbyshire Pension Fund members quicker and easier. The new security features include SMS Multi-Factor Authentication and Electronic ID verification (EIDV).
SMS Multi-Factor Authentication
Members will need to give their mobile number to get one-time passcodes for logging in. If you don’t have a mobile phone, the passcode can be sent to your email instead.
Electronic ID verification (EIDV)
For new registrations, members can use EIDV to verify their identity to register for the service. This process requires members to upload a photo of an official ID document (such as a passport or driving licence) and a photo of themselves. The system will then compare the 2 images to verify the member’s identity.
Ongoing improvements
After the upgrade has launched, My Pension Online will continue to be developed with new functionality, which we’re excited to share with you in due course.
